A community of caregivers and volunteers centered around babywearing.
What we do
Patuxent Babywearing is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the practice of babywearing through education and support. We serve Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties.
Our group began in 2013, after several of our now leaders met in a park to talk about babies and babywearing and saw the need for a group to promote the ideal locally. The group has now evolved and is run by volunteers from all over Maryland.
We host free meet ups around Maryland where caregivers can get help with their carrier(s) or try carriers from our lending library.
