The volunteers of Patuxent Babywearing have seriously missed helping the caregivers in our community at our monthly meetings. While we are still unable to offer in-person meetings, we are now happy to announce the beginning of contact-free checkouts! As before, any active member of Patuxent Babywearing can check out up to 2 carriers from our lending library. We have moved to an online reservation system to help us make this all possible. Read on to see how to make your reservation now!
Myturn Instructions
Username/Password Retrieval
- Go to patuxentbabywearing.myturn.com
- Click “Log In” in the upper right hand corner
- Click “Forgot Password”
- Enter your email (Figure A)
- You will receive an email with your username and a link to reset your password (Figure B)
- Click the link and follow the instructions. Please save your username and password.
Once you are logged in you will see our Coronavirus/COVID waiver. Click “sign” to review it and initial at the end.
Making a Reservation
- Once logged in, click the menu bar in the upper right hand corner. Select “Inventory” (Figure C). You will see the available inventory for your our entire lending library.
- Select the drop down and change your filter from “all locations” to the location where you attended meetings, this will filter for your results. You can also enter search words in the field below. (Figure D)
- Upon making a selection, click “reserve” (Figure E)
- Select the date you would like the reservation to begin and end. (Figure F) NOTE: As of right now, the only available reservation dates are the first Saturday in October and November (not August/September as seen in the images). They are in bold, but it can be hard to see.
- Click “start”
- You will then be able to repeat the process to make another reservation, or check out.
- To check out, click the cart (Figure G)
- Confirm your request by clicking “submit reservation” (Figure H).
- Your request will be confirmed by PTXBW and you will get an email notifying you it has been confirmed. You can also see updates, cancel or edit your request by viewing your reservations in MyTurn (Figure I)
- Once your carrier(s) have been pulled and packaged, you will see another email from us, but the pick-up day will remain on Saturday.
